Paul Sahlin Tiffany's Paul Sahlin Tiffany's has been in business since 1974. Paul Sahlin started the business by buying original antique Tiffany style lamps, repairing and restoring them, and then re-selling them. He soon found that the original antique lamps were few and far between, so he decided to "reproduce them" in order to supply the growing demand for stained glass.
All of Paul Sahlin Tiffany's stained glass lamps are real glass. Each stained glass shade is hand foiled with copper foil, and then soldered together by craftsmen. No two pieces of glass are exactly alike. They do have some blister, seeds, lines, and variations in the surface. These are not defects, but are simply characteristic of hand crafted stained glass.
Because of the construction, when a stained glass shade is tapped with an object the resulting sound is deadened and totally different than the sound made by tapping ordinary window glass.
Most Paul Sahlin Tiffany's items typically ship within 5 to 10 business days depending on availability of in stock items and/or the lead time of the artist.
